This past week, we had the opportunity to be apart

This past week, we had the opportunity to be apart of the 'Exploring Opportunities Day' at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School.

The day involved inviting surrounding Elementary schools to explore the countless opportunities for education and careers in the trades. Andre, our Nursery Assistant Manager, spoke about his experience discovering the Horticultural field as a Gonzaga graduate.

Students were invited into the greenhouse for a Horticulture Skilled Trades Spotlight where they learned about succulent care and planting. They were able to plant and take home their very own hand-made succulent arrangements. The activity was interactive, getting their hands dirty and the students loved it!

We love getting involved with the community and bringing the joy of nature to our new generations. The event was a great success, and would not have been possible without @canadiansucculents and @yourriverwood 🌱
